Week thirty six September 2nd - September 9th
Plant some more spring bulbs. Plant up a container of paperwhite narcissi. Collect more seed and store in dry labelled brown paper bags to store in a dry frost free drawer or in the fridge until next spring. Choose a couple of your best tomatoes and save the seeds. Begin to think about preparing ground to accommodate Japanese onion sets, wall flowers, winter flowering pansies, roses and fruit trees. Primulas removed in the spring to a holding bed can be planted out into their flowering positions again.
