Peas for November/December sowing now available 6th july 2004

Peas and bean seeds of various sizes and varieties

I have new Aquilegia seed collected today (9th july 2003) from double pink plants. They are not at all like the aquilegia in the seed catalogue but hardy, set seed and grow themselves giving a variety of colors from light pink through blue to dark purple both in double and single form. The seed catalogue has superb new varieties to choose from. I have found that all of the 'special' colours and varieties that I have planted in the past take too much care to preserve. These that I have need no care at all if one plant is left to become established and allowed to set and shed seed. Email me at patrick@laslett.info

Other seed that I can collect if they are required

Wild flower - Pink Campion

Meadow geranium, Field Cranesbill
Scientific Name: Geranium pratense L.
Family: Geraniaceae

Holyhocks White, Pink, Purple and Red

I am looking for some pure-bred sweet peas seeds for an experiment in cross breeding and I was wondering if you can help me. I would like some pre-Spencer grandiflora single colour variety. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated by this enthusiatic amateur horticulturist !!!

Many thanks Simon Hurley-Smith simon@health-matters.co.uk

Will swop Clivia seeds for Cycad seed

Go to

http://www.geocities.com/saencephalartos/cliviaseed.html

Clivia seed available from South Africa.

CLIVIA MINIATA
$0.60 PER SEED
(The Clivia miniata that I have are all grown together and cross-pollinated, so there are variations in the seedlings. They vary from light to dark orange, and are strong growers)

BEST YELLOWS X CHUBBS PEACH $4-00 PER SEED
(Best yellows x Chubb's Peach,
Chubb's Peach is dominant over yellow so these should produce at least 75 %
peach.)

We can also locate any other African seed like palm, cycad etc.

Please e-mail for orders.
