By November the year's gooseberry cuttings are loosing their leaves and are ready to move on.
They root well here on the north side of the water butt.

The goosberries at the end of my plot have been there for many years now and I'm afraid have to take some considerable abuse during in the winter (this year with peas sticks dumped on them) and are now (11th March) getting near their deadline for pruning.
